Over the past couple of years we’ve been exploring a revenue model which would allow us to keep the tool free to use, with Endlesss taking a share of revenue creators make on the platform. We’ve been excited with the results of these early experiments and have ongoing plans to expand this.
Realistically it will take some time to make that route sustainable so we’re bringing back our subscription tier ‘Endlesss Plus’ which launches today. Naturally, we’re honouring the pledges of all our Kickstarter backers as laid out above. So if you're here for the lossless audio and other perks we promised in our Kickstarter campaign, you won't need Endlesss Plus.

Introducing MIXTAPES: Arrange your Endlesss rifffs into songs & mixtapes

We’re excited to share MIXTAPES, a fully interactive prototype of the mixtape functionality that we’ll add to our forthcoming Endlesss marketplace later this year.
Endlesss is all about keeping you focussed in the creative flow to accelerate your path to musical magic with minimal distractions. MIXTAPES applies these same principles to bring you a tool for curating and arranging your rifffs. Fire up Endlesss Studio, bash out some rifffs alone or together then drag and drop the best into MIXTAPES. Structure the layers of a rifff into a song with the arranger, then assemble them into beat-matched DJ mixes or back-to-back radio shows which you can record and save with the built-in recorder.
MIXTAPES is a .ens file built in Native Instruments’ Reaktor. If you don’t have Reaktor, you can download it here and run it for free with some limitations. Hit the button below to download the MIXTAPES .ens and get started!

Taking Endlesss into a community-owned future

Hey there,
We hope you’re enjoying Endlesss Studio for Windows! We’re so pleased to get it in your hands and start hearing what you’ve been creating with it and we’re super-grateful for your support and patience while we dug deep to make it happen.
We’re sliding into your inbox with an update on delivering our stretch goals and pledge badges plus some big news on how we’re moving to make Endlesss a community-owned ecosystem and transferring some of that ownership to you, our esteemed Kickstarter backers!
18 months on from our Kickstarter campaign, we’ve learned so much from everyone who has come to be involved in the Endlesss ecosystem. Endlesss is so much more than a tool. It’s a new way to be together, musically. You, the Endlesss community, consistently blow our minds with what you create, the way you organize and the friendships that you’re nurturing along the way. Simply put, Endlesss is so much more than a company that serves customers, Endlesss IS you.
So we’ve decided to go the full nine yards to honour that by aligning our success with yours. We’re in the process of establishing the Endlesss Foundation as a community-owned, community-governed organisation which will develop open-source technology and infrastructure for the existing Endlesss apps to run on, as well as any tool that anyone might imagine to build on this infrastructure in future.
We believe the barrier to access for creative tools should be as low as possible so we’ve also decided to drop all paywalls for the Endlesss apps. Obviously you backed us with your well-earned cash, so naturally we want to honour this and continue delivering value to you. In mid-2022, we will launch the $ESSS token which functions like a digital version of shares in Endlesss. $ESSS will become the governance token for the Endlesss community. We have reserved an allocation of 20 million $ESSS tokens to be shared amongst all our Kickstarter backers and customers over the last 18 months, according to total spend.
These plans go deep. We’ve been working on them for a long time and there’s way more to talk about than we can fit into this update. If you want to learn more, we’ve written a Transition Statement which goes into much more detail
We’re officially launching Endlesss Studio for Windows on 14th December, alongside a browser-based jam radio service which will enable you to share your Endlesss creativity both live and on demand through a convenient link in your browser. We will also be publicly announcing our new strategy, as well as our partnership with the Near Foundation who recently launched Near, an energy efficient decentralised ledger protocol (we did the math - a single transaction on Near releases around 1.5g of CO2 - a single rifff on Endlesss around 2.5g). As a valued backer of Endlesss, we would really appreciate your help in spreading the word!
In H1 2022, we will launch our first digital marketplace where you’ll be able to collect, curate and trade your favourite rifffs on Endlesss as they’re made. At the same time as this, we will distribute your pledge tier badges as limited edition digital collectibles which you will also be able to display in your user profile on Endlesss.
The Endlesss creation tools will remain a public good for anyone to use for any purpose, for free. We won’t force anyone to interact with the blockchain component but equally we want to provide the opportunity for those that wish.
Later in 2022, we will be shipping an epic remix on ‘song mode’ which we cannot wait to share with you, alongside other features such as HD audio and plugin hosting inside Endlesss Studio.

We’re excited to share that we’ve opened up early access to Endlesss Studio Windows to all Studio & Studio HD Backers!
As mentioned in our update last week, we’ve now set up a specific channel in our Discord Server where we will post updates and for all backers to provide feedback (bug reports, feature requests). If you click on the link below and then tap the Windows emoji in our latest Announcement post, you will get added to Windows Early Access channel.
